US President Donald Trump will announce on Tuesday if he will withdraw from the Iran nuclear deal or stay in it as some NATO allies are trying to persuade him to not pull out of the deal.
Trump has repeatedly said that he would leave the deal if some changes are not made to it, and he has set May 12 for his final decision on the issue.
“I will be announcing my decision on the Iran Deal tomorrow from the White House at 2:00pm,” the US top official said on his Twitter account.
In the meantime, Iran said that the decision would not affect its economy either way.
“We are prepared for all scenarios. If America pulls out of the deal, our economy will not be impacted,” Reuters quoted a statement released by central bank chief Valiollah Seif.
“One man in one country might create some problems for us for a few months, but we will overcome those problems,” President Hassan Rouhani was quoted by Reuters.
