Kurdistan Region Delegation led by Prime Minister Nechirvan Barzani on Saturday met the Iraqi PM Haider al-Abadi on the sideline of Munich Security Conference.

Nechirvan Barzani, Kurdistan Region PM and Masrour Barzani, the Chancellor of the Kurdistan Region Security Council, on Saturday met with Haider al-Abadi, the Iraqi PM on the sideline of the MSC so as to adress the significant matters between Baghdad and Erbil and reach a solution for the issues between the sides in accordance with the Iraqi Constitution.

The Kurdish premier had previously met with his counterpart Haider al-Abadi on the sideline of the Davos World Economic Forum to discuss the tensions between Baghdad and Erbil, but no actions have so far been taken by Baghdad to send the region’s budget share and lifting the ban on the airports even though the region has carefully followed all the conditions made by Iraqi central government.
