The Crisco Kid: Works For Me …

Cree: @The Crisco Kid As for Sept, I do not know….. Some people talk here but either I’m an idiot (which is possible) or they talk in code and it is hard to understand what they are saying…..

Cree: @The Crisco Kid He was saying that Iraq is bankrupt which would not bode well for us…….
The Crisco Kid: There Sell Bonds Now, They Don’t Need Us ….

ElmerFudd: They still need to RV.

Cree: @The Crisco Kid Well whomever I spoke to was sort of saying that the GOI borrowed money form the CBI and they bought their own bonds.. Spectra: Referendum delegation will meet Abadi when visit Baghdad Monday By Rudaw 4 hours agoIraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi addresses reporters in a joint press conference in the capital of Kurdistan Region, Erbil, in June 2015. File photo:Rudaw ERBIL,

Kurdistan Region – A high-level Kurdistan delegation is to visit Baghdad on Monday to discuss the planned referendum for September with Iraqi officials, including Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi, a member of the delegation told Rudaw English Saturday.

Vian Dakhil, a Yezidi member of the Iraqi parliament, said they have no red lines over the agenda of the meeting or who they will meet with since their mission is for a “great cause.” She said that they will also meet with foreign embassies while in Baghdad.

The date for the trip was set after the delegation met on Saturday in Erbil. They also held a meeting with President Masoud Barzani to discuss their agenda. The delegation includes members of Kurdish and minority parties, including the two main ruling parties in Kurdistan, the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) and the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK).

US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson commended the decision to send the Kurdistan delegation to Baghdad when he spoke with Barzani by phone on Thursday. Dakhil said that several issues will be discussed with Iraqi officials and foreign delegates, but that the main focus is the referendum.

A statement from the Kurdish Presidency following the Saturday meeting said that they will negotiate “political issues, future relations between the [Kurdistan] Region and Baghdad,” during their visit to Iraq’s capital. One item that is not up for discussion, however, is the timing of the vote.

The date of the referendum stands as it is, September 25, Dakhil said. In his phone call with Barzani, Tillerson asked Erbil to postpone the vote. The Kurdish president declined, saying the US administration has failed to provide guarantees or an “alternative” that would secure

Spectra: Iraq Exclusive: Hashd al-Shaabi trains hundreds of child soldiers south of Kirkuk BASHIR, Kirkuk – The mainly Shiite Hashd al-Shaabi forces have trained some 280 children since last year in the use of light and heavy weapons. Some may take part in fighting ISIS south of Kirkuk.

Commanders of the Hashd, also known as the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF), are giving the military training in Bashir village, Kirkuk province, a Rudaw investigation revealed. The children are under 18 years old. They are seen in military uniforms, receiving weapons training.

Those who are 15 or 16 years old are to take part in combat, if necessary. The Iraqi parliament passed a law last year that recognizes the Shiite force as an official part of the Iraqi armed forces, subject to the laws of Iraq.

Recruitment and use of child soldiers is prohibited internationally and under Iraqi law. Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi is the commander-in-chief of the armed forces and has said on more than an occasion that the Hashd are official forces of the Iraqi state. A reported 100 child soldiers have graduated from three months of military training in Bashir village so far this year. Last year, 180 child soldiers received training.
