Hundreds of ISIS families turn themselves in to Peshmerga in Hawija

Hundreds of ISIS families have turned themselves in to Peshmerga forces in Hawija district in Kirkuk governorate, a security source said Saturday.

He added that Peshmerga forces are interrogating these families about their ISIS relatives.

The forces will transfer the families to private places.

Earlier on Thursday, Iraqi PM Haider al-Abadi said that US-backed Iraqi army had ousted ISIS terrorists from the northern town of Hawija, one of the terror group’s last strongholds in the country.
