Abadi starts from Riyadh regional tour is his first after the crisis in Kurdistan

Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi will start a regional tour from Saudi Arabia on Saturday to discuss the situation in Iraq and a number of important issues. This is his first tour after the crisis in the Kurdistan region.

A government source told Mawazine News that “Abadi is starting today a regional tour starting from Saudi Arabia.”

The source added that “the visit to Riyadh includes discussing the files of terrorism and war against” Daash “economy, agriculture, education and border crossings and the recent political situation in Iraq.

He pointed out that “the tour includes his visit to Egypt, Jordan, Iran and Turkey.”

Saudi King Salman bin Abdul Aziz earlier invited Prime Minister Haider al-Abbadi to attend the first coordination meeting between the two countries to be held in Saudi Arabia next week.
